Established on 29th March 2012, the MAXON Competence Centre Singapore is the 3rd worldwide MAXON centre, following similar initiatives in Paris and Tokyo. It aims to strengthen MAXON’s market presence in the region to better serve and support local customers to increase the talent pool for 3D animation, motion graphics and visual effects.

Temasek Polytechnic - a tertiary education institution in Singapore, offers full-time and part-time diploma courses in applied science, business, design, engineering, humanities & social sciences, and informatics & IT to around 15,000 students.


In 2011, as an acknowledgement of the long-term strategic partnership between IM Innovations and Temasek Polytechnic, the Managing Director of IM Innovations was featured as one of their key industry partners in a video entitled 'A Celebration of Partnerships'


3D Media Studio

IM Innovations collaborated with Temasek Polytechnic to establish 3D Media Studio on 4th April 2005 – a hub to develop and promote the use of 3D. It transfers 3D technologies and skills to students and industry professionals through training curriculums. It also offers consultancy services and facilities to test and develop innovative 3D applications and projects.

Virtual Paper Napkin

Together with the support of Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) and Temasek Polytechnic as a key partner, IM Innovations launched the Virtual Paper Napkin programme on 30th September 2005, aiming to ignite students’ interest in 3D applications.


The on-going annual 3D Graphics and Animation Competition is a VPN initiative which IM Innovations has co-organized with Temasek Polytechnic since 2008.

MAXON Competence Centre @ TP


MAXON Competence Centre @ TP was set up through a tripartite partnership between IM Innovations, MAXON Computer and Temasek Polytechnic on 25th January 2013. An extension of MAXON Competence Centre Singapore-ASEAN, it focuses on capabilities development of educators and students through CINEMA 4D-related project work, training, as well as staff and student attachment programmes.

Singapore Polytechnic - a tertiary education institution in Singapore offers full-time and part-time diploma courses and a wide range of continuing education programmes to around 17,000 students.


Memorandum of Cooperation

In November 2008, a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) was sealed in a collaborative bid to groom local visual effects artists in Singapore. In conjunction, IM Innovations and Singapore Polytechnic launched a follow-up course, Diploma in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics (DVEMG), which focusses on computer-generated visual effects and 3D motion graphics.
