Many people are amazed with the use of computer 3D modeling, animation and digital effects in block buster movies such as Golden Compass, Open Season, Spider Man 3 and Monster House. Similarly such 3D software tool is also widely used for innovations in product and architectural design, scientific visualization and visual arts in the real world.

Are you interested to get started on 3D and have "serious fun" like the students from many of the schools that our company has been training since March 2005. Mrs Lim, the ex-principal of Admiralty Secondary School, shared the experience of their students: "the sessions gave us a glimpse into the endless possibilities for innovative teaching and learning…..The software is user-friendly and easy to manipulate. In fact we were amazed at the learning speed in which some of our students, namely Sec 1s and 2s displayed".

IM Innovations is an IDA Infocomm Clubs Programme training partner for both Temasek Polytechnic and Hewlett Packard. We offer structured 3D training for Primary, Secondary Schools and Junior Colleges based on our customized curriculum for students. Our courses aim to teach and enthuse students to work in the 3D space with ease using a professional 3D software tool called CINEMA 4D.

Students are guided through the features and techniques of 3D modelling, animation and rendering using Cinema 4D while working and building on a project. We also provide project mentoring services for students to work on school projects or competitions.

The training programme drawn up for the IDA Infocomms Club is based on a progressive curriculum which allows students to build on their skills each year. At the same time, a new batch of students will be trained each year starting from Year 1 again.
