About Us

IM Innovations Pte Ltd, Founded in April 2003 by professionals in the IT and media industry, IM Innovations Pte Ltd offers innovative interactive and digital media (IDM) technology solutions, training and professional services in partnership with leading global technology companies like Maxon Computer GmbH. Our customers include the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, Institute of High Performance Computing, Temasek Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic, Mediacorps, Infinite Frameworks, ST Digital Media, Bruce Dunlop and Singapore schools.

IM Innovations’ vision is to make 3D visualization and interactive digital media pervasive. We empower our corporate clients, educational customers and students to transform their organizations and industries with easy-to-use and affordable but powerful 3D software tools and professional services. Our strategic initiatives to realize this goal have received wide support, including from Infocomm Development Authority, Creative Community Singapore and Media Development Authority.

Collaborations

The 3D Media Studio which is set up in 2005 in partnership with Temasek Polytechnic, will support VPN curriculum development and training and provide the expertise to explore, develop, and promote 3D graphics and applications among industry professionals, teachers and students.

In June 2007, IM Innovations and Temasek Polytechnic are proud to announce the launch of Interactive Digital Centre Asia (IDC Asia). The key objectives are to:

Provide leadership to support application, integration and research relating to  visualisation technologies.

 •Promote adoption of IDM based solutions in new and traditional industries relating to medical education, transportation, aerospace, architecture, construction and engineering.
 •

Develop partnerships with business and industry, universities, and others to support content development, professional development, e-learning and visualisation technologies.


In November 2008, IM Innovations sealed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) with Singapore Polytechnic (SP) in a collaborative bid to groom local visual effects artists in Singapore. SP has since launched a follow-up course, Diploma in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics (DVEMG) which focuses on computer generated visual effects and 3D motion graphics. Read press release here.

IM Innovations and Temasek Polytechnic organised its first ever 3D graphics and animation competition for secondary school students!

In early 2005, we launch the Virtual Paper Napkin (VPN) programme. This pioneering initiative is an outreach and training programme to ignite students' interest in 3D applications.

Leveraging on our success with schools in the Virtual Paper Napkin programme, both Temasek Polytechnic and Hewlett Packard have partnered with IM Innovations as their training partner for digital media in the IDA Infocomm Clubs programme.
