CINEMA 4D R12 has been awarded the 2010-2011 Live Design Magazine Projection Products of the Year Award.
The annual Live Design awards recognize outstanding products in the live entertainment design and technology industry with a strong accent on projection. Panel judges consisting of professional projection designers, programmers, and technicians, selected CINEMA 4D R12, introduced in fall 2010, for its intuitive interface and seamless integration with Vectorworks and Adobe After Effects, and citing it as a 3D content creation heavyweight and a show design and pre-visualization ‘must have’.
“MAXON aims to bring advanced 3D software solutions to artists that are production-friendly and easy to use,” said Paul Babb, president and CEO at MAXON US. “We’re honored that the professional entertainment design technology community has recognized CINEMA 4D as a standout design tool and accept this award on behalf of our customers whose dedication to our products remains a key ingredient to our continued success.”
Recent projects that have leveraged CINEMA 4D for live entertainment design and projection work include:
Piers Morgan Tonight on CNN – Gallery illustrations for the new talk show set
