MAXON supports animation competition that's all about the new features in CINEMA 4D R13.
"The Social Animation Project" - this is the category in which the 99frames animation project falls. The idea was to create a contest in which anyone can take part, regardless of their skill level. The restriction of 99 frames also reduces the time and effort needed to create an entry. Everyone can and should be inspired to take part using the new features of CINEMA 4D R13 to create their own breathtaking animation and let their imagination run wild.
After the contest has ended, all 99frames animations will be composited to make up a large clip with a fitting, specially composed soundtrack that will be made available to the global community. Everyone is encouraged to pass this composition on so they can show everyone their contribution to the 99frames competition.
To top it all off and to inspire participants even more, several fantastic prizes will be available to the winners, ranging from plugins to a VRAYforC4D license or a CINEMA 4D Studio version! The winners will be selected by an jury comprised of industry experts: David Lewnadowski, Kay Tennemann, Manuel Casasola Merkle, Mike 'the monkey' Senften, Nick 'GreyscaleGorilla' Campbell and Rizon Prein.
David Drayton, currently serving professional time at MAXON, is the organizer of this private competition and is very happy about the "great amount of positive feedback within the CINEMA 4D community." David states, "It's amazing to see an idea being so well received by so many CINEMA 4D users. I am particularly flattered that such a renowned jury decided to select the winners."
So get your CINEMA 4D engine running and get to work!
