A session about how CINEMA 4D can help users emerge at the top.
For the first time, Selayang Community College organised and hosted the inaugural Multimedia Fest 2013 on 25th April 2013 at their campus. Graced by Mr Amir Bin Md Noor, the Director General from the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, this event is a knowledge sharing and networking platform for creative and media professionals, educators from tertiary institutions and key representatives from professional bodies in Malaysia.
Vincent Ong, Managing Director of MAXON Competence Centre Singapore – ASEAN, took the stage and painted the current business landscape - fierce global challenges, demanding customers, emergence of disruptive technologies and shortage of talent pool. Freelancers, start-ups and entrepreneurial organisations in the 3D visualisation, media and entertainment sectors can compete successfully with incumbents if they empower themselves with software tools and skills which are easy to use, affordable and can produce the same or better quality production. He cited Moving Bits and Dominic Watkins as boutique companies which have chosen to use CINEMA 4D and are winning contracts and international awards.
The audience was pleasantly surprised to learn that CINEMA 4D is not only used for blockbuster movies and stunning TV commercials, like Golden Compass, Iron Man and Oblivion but also in many other mainstream industries such as engineering and medical visualization, architectural and product design and many more.
Peter Dudley’s production of Peter Pan “wowed” the audience with the dazzling CG imagery created using CINEMA 4D for the world’s first fully 360-degree projected animated stage set.
Participants of the CINEMA 4D training workshops also got a taste of the amazing power and ease in using CINEMA 4D.
