Ventuz Technology Presents New Cinema 4D Integration at NAB 2015

The new live link between Ventuz Technology’s real-time graphics software suite and Cinema 4D provides seamless communication between the two toolsets.


Ventuz is a real-time graphics content creation, authoring & playout control software for 3D interactive presentations, events and on-air broadcast graphics. Ventuz will be showing the integration of Cinema 4D as a technology preview at NAB 2015, Las Vegas Convention Center, booth #SL9927, through April 16. The new live link will be publicly available with the next major release of Ventuz, which is planned for late 2015.


The link is dedicated to improving the workflow in complex multimedia projects for events and broadcast. Any changes made inside of Cinema 4D will be updated automatically in the Ventuz project – all in real-time. The functionality will be available with both tools running on one machine, and can also be run over a local network.


Currently, the live link supports geometry, textures, UVs, SRT and per vertex animation. Two of the workflows that will be greatly improved are virtual/augmented reality graphics and projection mapping. For virtual sets and augmented reality applications, changes made in the original 3D scene will be seamlessly reflected in the Ventuz scene, allowing quick changes to positions, geometry, materials and textures. For projection mapping, Cinema 4D's native geometry editing toolset will make it possible to precisely modify and fine-tune geometry to perfectly match the physical topology. Combined with the advanced warping and projector alignment tools inside of Ventuz, this results in very flexible and powerful workflows.
