On 12th May 2015, we jointly organised the Cinema 4D Broadcast Seminar at the Toa Payoh Public Library with the Creative Crew, the Adobe User Group in Singapore.
It is an educational workshop to reach out and introduce Cinema 4D to the members of Creative Crew in one of their regular get-together session.
Since most of the audience are new to 3D modelling and animation tools like Cinema 4D, our demo artist kick-started the session by quickly showing how easy it is to use Cinema 4D to create 3D objects, such as a chess pawn by using primitive modelling using basic shapes like spheres and cones. She also briefly demonstrated other modelling capabilities like polygonal and NURBS modelling before adding color, texture, transparency, shading, lighting, sky background from the standard content library and finally animating and rendering the scene. All of this was done in less than 15 minutes!
After highlighting the comprehensive content library and how it can improve productivity for different professionals, the audience were then shown how industry-leading tool like MoGraph in Cinema 4D could be used by motion graphics designers to quickly create remarkable 3D motion graphics and visual effects with button clicks. For those with Adobe After Effects CC, attendees also witness the seamless integration between AE CC and Cinema 4D. Such integrated workflow increases productivity significantly.
It was well-attended and a success! Most of the participants stayed till the end and had lots of questions about the Cinema 4D software and how they can be trained. For those who did not attend for this session, do not miss the next one.
