Do you know that Singapore was once a fishing village?
Do you know how Singapore got her name?
Do you know how Kampong Glam and Chinatown came about?
Now you can learn all about it, by playing “Singapore History Alive with 3D!”
IM Innovations, in collaboration with National Library Board (NLB) and supported by Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA), has featured the multimedia game solution, Singapore History Alive with 3D!, at Serangoon Public Library to allow users to learn about Singapore’s heritage in a fun and interactive way.
This interactive game whisks you back to the time when Singapore was a fishing village, lets you roam around the island, and interact with key historical figures like Sir Stanford Raffles and Temenggong as they share with you their adventures.
It has been well received by the parents and students when they discovered that it was a mix of both educational and fun! “It is fun because we can learn and play at the same time!” one of the children at the library commented.
Head down to the Serangoon Public Library from now till 31st October 2012 to play it!
